50+ Vendors are available to help you get your holiday shopping off to a good start!Â
Clothing, accessories, jewelry, decorations, gourmet foods and much more.Â
Admission is FREE, and our kitchen will be serving homemadeÂ soups and much more for lunch.Â

Electrical Malfunction Prompts Box Alarm

On August 31, 2011 at 2356 hrs, Station 14 and Engine 14-1 were dispatched to a reported smoke in the structure at 2151 Grimesville Rd.Â upon arrival it was found that the smoke was caused by an electrical malfunction in a 200 amp main disconnect panel.Â PPL was notified and responded to the scene and pulled the meter from the residence.Â Â Squad 14 crew ventilated the residence, and damage was contained to the panel and breaker, with minor smoke throughout the structure.

SQUAD 14 1ST DUE FOR ALPHA FIRE DURING SEASON OPENER

On Saturday September 3, 2011 Alpha Fire invited SQUAD 14 to run 1st due in State College.Â Due to the large crowd of spectators for the opening game,Â Penn State vs Indiana, SQUAD 14 and crew of 7 were invited to cover all 1st due assignments.Â SQUAD 14 handled 3 incidents during the day.Â A fire in a college dorm hallway with extension to the ceiling, an automatic alarm at a local church and an odor investigation on the eighth floor of a student housing facility.Â also during half time of the game, 2 EMTs from the SQUAD crew along with 2 Alpha EMTs assisted atÂ Beaver Stadiums First Aid Station, when theÂ attending medical staffÂ wasÂ inundated with victims of the scorching heat.

Vehicle Accident 2308 Lycoming Creek Rd.

A vehicle accident occurred July 8th, 2011 around 17:31hrs on lycoming creek road.Â Response team included Engine 14-1, Squad 14, Medic 91Â and Old Lycoming Fire Police.

“WALK OF HONOR” SIGN PROJECT

Finishing touches are being completed for the memorial, “WALK OF HONOR” project which has been added to the front lawn at Station 14.Â The project consists of an electronic message board capable of displaying safety messages and advertisements.Â the memorial, also includes new flag poles and a bronze plaque along with bricks which display the names of past members who served their community.Â Much of the project was supported by donations from local businesses, members and the general public.Â A dedication ceremony will be coming in the near future, check back for details.

Lightening Strike To Residence

On May 27th 2011 at approximately 2100 hrs, Station 14, 15 and 2Â were dispatched to a reported working structure fire in the 1800 block of Beauty Ave. County advised a lightening strike to the residence with flames showing.Â Old Lycoming Police arrived on scene, and found the homeowner had the fire out.Â Crews removed smoldering debris, and ventilated the structure. Â The investigation team found a lightening strike from a passing thunder storm,Â hit theÂ roof of the residence2nd floor bedroom, which extended to the window curtains igniting them on fire.Â Several Electrical discharge points were found in the aluminum siding of the residence.

Ladder 15 Training

Residence House Fire

On November 2009 during aÂ afternoon around 4pm, a stream of smoke was showing from a structure and 911 was called. Station 14 was dispatched to 5 Ridge Dale Residence engulfed in flames.

Reconstruction and investigation was lead by Deputy Chief Joe Hope and included: Inspectors Tony Rampulla and Scott Hope and Capt. Brent Michael Firefighters assisting were (Rick Barrett, Lt. Rick Strous, Shea Reiley, Matt Risell, & Josh Hope).
