On Saturday March 22, 2009 at around 4pm, Station 14 and Engine 14-1 were dispatched to a garage fire on Sweeley Ave behind Knittle & Fry. A highly involved garage, produced massive amounts of smoke and could be seen from Lycoming Creek Rd. After flames were put out, foam was placed on the structure. Fire Inspectors (Tony Rampulla, Scott Hope & Joe Hope) interviewed the residence. They reconstructed the scene looking for fire patterns leading to the point of origin. After intensive investigation, Fire Inspector Joe Hope concluded the scene was undetermined. No fraudulent work at play. No residence or personal was injured at the fire.
