- Two of the city's fire fighters able to respond to all city and Old Lycoming Township alarms.
- Old Lycoming Township able to provide supplemental manpower for city alarms.
- Allowing the two departments to share manpower, apparatus and equipment resources.
- The Old Lycoming fire department offering its fire department and engine to the city.

Minimum Qualifications to Ride along on Engine 14-1
- Member of Old Lycoming Twp. Vol. Fire Co.
- Essentials of Firefighting or equivalent
- Haz-Mat Operations Level
- Vehicle Rescue Operations
- Water Rescue Phase I
- Current CPR
- EMT or Ambulance Driver
- Approval by the Chief of the Department
- Dress Code
A. Dark blue pants
B. Company t-shirt and/or job shirt
C. Black shoes and darks socks
D. Class C shirt as needed
