Resize Photos

Large image will cause your thumbnails not to work in creating photo galleries. The solution is to resize your photos to a smaller file size, using the Windows Live Photo Gallery on a PC.

  • Step 1. Type in your search bar at the bottom “Windows Live Photo Gallery”. Then click on the icon.
  • Step 2. Select your photo.
  • Step 3. Right click on the photo selected, and select “Resize”. Also make sure your selected size is “Smaller:640″.
  • Step 4. Select “Browse” before saving the resize image to your desktop, or a similar place, where you can trash it after you’re done. You do this so you don’t rewrite over the full size image.
  • Step 5. After you’ve selected a new destination. Click the “Resize and Save” button. The image is now ready for upload onto a gallery.
