At 1423 yesterday, Brush 14 was requested to assist Hepburn Twp. VFC with a field fire in the 2100 block of 973 east. The fire was quickly confined and extinguished by responders. However, it is a great reminder that as we get into spring, the ground cover is brown and dry, and the winds are strong. PLEASE follow safe outside burning rules and on high fire hazard days, please do not burn at all.
